Alexandra Vegh cleared of Sports Law violations by inspection
The Sports Inspection has concluded a two-and-a-half-month investigation into Alexandra Vegh, the president of NK Osijek, finding no violations of the Sports Law. The probe focused on Article 112, which prohibits individuals authorized to represent or manage a sports club from simultaneously being connected to a legal entity that holds contracts with athletes or coaches to earn a portion of their income.
According to the inspection, documentation revealed that V Agency kft, a Hungarian-based company where Vegh serves as an authorized representative, did not have any mediation contracts with athletes that would grant the agency rights to income derived from sporting activities during the period from February 20, 2026, until the conclusion of the oversight. While Vegh's connection to the agency was previously noted due to the agency representing several footballers, the inspection determined that no legal breach occurred regarding her dual roles.
