Alexandre Curi pledges to represent Paraná municipalities in Brasília

Alexandre Curi, a candidate for the Senate representing the Republicanos party, has stated his intention to serve as a voice for mayors and municipalities in Brasília. During a recent interview, Curi emphasized a municipalist approach, arguing that a senator's role extends beyond lawmaking and federal oversight to include helping smaller municipalities secure resources for public policies.

Curi noted that Paraná has lost its prominence in the Senate and aims to use his experience from six terms as a state deputy to bridge the gap between local governments and the federal capital. He expressed a commitment to being a present and effective representative for all 399 municipalities in the state, acknowledging that needs vary significantly across different regions.
