Alexandre de Moraes votes in Brazilian presidential election

Supreme Federal Court Vice-President Alexandre de Moraes cast his vote in São Paulo during the second round of the 2026 presidential elections. Arriving at the Colégio Madre Alix around 8:00 a.m., Moraes was the first voter at the location and reported no incidents of hostility.

Moraes praised the Brazilian electoral system, noting the efficiency of the voting and counting processes. He encouraged citizens to participate, stating that voters are deciding the future of the country. While the state government race in São Paulo concluded in the first round with the reelection of Tarcísio de Freitas, this second round focuses exclusively on the presidency.
