Alexandre Nero denies steroid use after AI images go viral

Brazilian actor Alexandre Nero has denied rumors regarding the use of anabolic steroids after AI-generated images of him surfaced on social media. The manipulated photos, which depicted him with a highly muscular physique, went viral alongside claims that the images were authentic.

Nero clarified on X (formerly Twitter) that the images were created using artificial intelligence, stating, “The photo is NOT pure indeed. This is AI.” He explained that he does not promote the idea of a perfect body and wanted to prevent future misconceptions about his physical appearance. To demonstrate his actual physique, the actor shared a real photo taken at a beach in Barra da Tijuca, Rio de Janeiro.
