Alexandre Nero on Globo's 'Paraíso Perdido' and Juliano Floss casting

Actor Alexandre Nero said he joined Globo’s upcoming 40‑episode novela “Paraíso Perdido” because it offers a new role and is inspired by the work of Nelson Rodrigues. He added that financial stability also influences his choices, noting, “I work because it’s my profession, and money matters too.”

Nero addressed the casting of former reality‑show participant Juliano Floss, who will play his son in the series. He said he has not yet met Floss and will form an opinion after working together. The drama, written by George Moura and Sergio Goldenberg with artistic direction by Joana Jabace, will debut on Globoplay before airing on TV Globo, and also features actress Alanis Guillen.
