Alexandre Padilha endorses reelection of two Federal Deputies

Brazilian Health Minister Alexandre Padilha has publicly endorsed several candidates in recent political movements. Padilha announced his support for the reelection of Federal Deputy Márcio Jerry (PCdoB-MA), who serves as the president of the Parliamentary Front in Defense of the SUS (Unified Health System). Jerry has focused his mandate on increasing federal health investments in Maranhão and strengthening the public health system.

Additionally, Padilha released a video on social media endorsing the reelection of Federal Deputy Lucas Ramos (PSB) in Pernambuco. During the video, the minister linked the defense of vaccination to the protection of family and life, noting that Brazil has achieved its highest vaccination coverage in nine years and improved its standing regarding childhood immunization rates according to UNICEF data.
