Bank Jakarta and Persija Jakarta have officially strengthened their partnership for the 2026/2027 competition season through the "United for Jakarta" collaboration. The initiative, launched at Taman Suropati, aims to move beyond traditional sponsorship toward a strategic partnership that integrates digital banking services, loyalty programs, and specialized benefits for the club's supporters, The Jakmania.

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung expressed his hope that Persija, now coached by Shin Tae-yong, can secure the league title as a celebratory gift for the city's 500th anniversary in 2027. He also highlighted the potential for Jakarta to become a major destination for sport tourism through such large-scale sporting ecosystems.

Persija President Mohamad Prapanca confirmed that the club has secured permission to use the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Stadium for a high-profile match against Persib Bandung scheduled for September 12, 2026. The club is also preparing for the upcoming season with a training camp in Thailand starting August 10.
