Alexandria Governor Announces Official Parking Locations and Fees

Governor Ayman Attia of Alexandria announced the locations of 34 official parking lots across the city’s central, customs, eastern and Montaza districts, and designated sections of 50 streets as official waiting zones. The announcement includes the set fees for each site, with clear signage to be installed so drivers can see the rates.

The measures aim to increase transparency, prevent unauthorized collections, and protect citizens from illegal charges. Residents are urged to pay only at the official facilities, to report any illicit fee‑taking via the provided hotline numbers (114 and 01550855872), and to cooperate with ongoing field inspections.

The governor stressed that violations will be met with legal action, reinforcing traffic discipline and improving service quality for both locals and visitors.
