Alexandria Governor attends Saudi National Day celebration

Ayman Attia, the Governor of Alexandria, attended a celebration hosted by the Saudi Consulate General in Alexandria to mark the Saudi National Day. The event was held at the invitation of Dr. Abdullah bin Nasser Al-Dawood, the Saudi Consul General in Alexandria.

The ceremony was attended by various high-ranking officials, public figures, and representatives from government, diplomatic, and consular bodies, as well as consuls from several Arab and foreign nations and civil society leaders. During the event, Governor Attia extended his congratulations to the leadership, government, and people of Saudi Arabia, praising the country’s rapid developmental progress in sectors such as infrastructure, investment, digital transformation, tourism, and youth empowerment.

Attia emphasized the deep historical and fraternal ties between Egypt and Saudi Arabia, describing the relationship as a model of Arab cooperation and integration. He also highlighted the specific commercial, cultural, and humanitarian links between the city of Alexandria and the Kingdom, expressing a commitment to enhancing cooperation and exchanging expertise to support mutual development interests.
