Alexandria Health Directorate announces childhood vaccination schedules
The Alexandria Health Directorate has announced the schedules and locations for mandatory periodic vaccinations for children across all health units in the governorate. To ensure proper immunization, parents are advised to bring birth certificates and vaccination booklets to their nearest health unit. If a dose is missed, a new vaccination schedule must be established at a local facility.
In addition to routine immunizations, the Directorate is continuing the ‘100 Days of Health’ national campaign. This initiative, which runs for 100 days starting August 1, 2026, aims to enhance the quality of healthcare and achieve universal health coverage. The campaign focuses on listening to patient needs and providing a wide range of free medical services.
Free services offered under the campaign include support for women's health, early detection and treatment of chronic diseases and kidney ailments, maternal and fetal health, cancer screening, and elderly care.
