Alexandria political groups address urban safety and farmer needs

Political groups in Alexandria are intensifying efforts to address local community issues. A coalition of various political parties, including the Democratic Generation, Al-Ghad, and others, met to discuss mechanisms for cooperation. Their primary focus includes addressing the risks posed by dilapidated buildings ahead of the winter season. The coalition noted that approximately 24,108 buildings in Alexandria have been identified as at risk of collapse, with roughly 8,000 having received demolition orders.

Separately, the Mostaqbal Watan Party held a public meeting in the Abis region to discuss the needs of local farmers. The meeting focused on agricultural challenges, specifically the availability of fertilizers and the necessity of utilizing alternative agricultural inputs. Party representatives pledged to communicate these demands to the relevant authorities to seek practical solutions for the farming community.
