Alexandros Rigas discusses career failures and mortality
Greek screenwriter and actor Alexandros Rigas discussed his professional career and personal reflections during an interview on the program ‘Studio stis 3’ on SKAI.
Rigas shared that he has been more deeply affected by professional failures than by successes, noting that success can sometimes feel like a burden. He specifically identified his series ‘To amartima tis mitros mou’ and ‘Trichis’ as projects that did not perform well, with the former being abruptly interrupted due to production issues. He also noted that certain theatrical productions did not attract the expected audience.
Reflecting on the passage of time, Rigas spoke about the inevitability of decline in both mind and body. He also addressed the concept of mortality, stating that while the loss of former colleagues is painful, he has come to accept the reality that life has an expiration date.
