Alexandroupoli Municipality announces return of Pie Festival

The Municipality of Alexandroupoli has announced the return of its traditional ‘Pie Festival,’ scheduled for Saturday, October 24, 2026, at 19:00. This year’s event introduces structural and philosophical changes, aiming to provide a new gastronomic and cultural experience.

Local cultural associations are invited to participate as central protagonists by presenting local creations. A revamped ‘Golden Tray 2026’ award will be presented, with a judging committee evaluating entries based on taste, originality, creativity, and aesthetic presentation. The festivities will conclude with a traditional celebration featuring musical performances.

Associations must declare their participation by Monday, September 21, 2026, via email or telephone. Admission for the public will be free.
