Alexandru Bercea and Irina Vlah named Honorary Citizens

Entrepreneur Alexandru Bercea has been named an Honorary Citizen of Arad, Romania. During a festive ceremony attended by hundreds, Arad Mayor Călin Bibarț presented the distinction to Bercea in recognition of his economic contributions to the region.

Bercea is the founder and primary shareholder of Alber Holding, a group with interests in real estate, industry, logistics, and finance. His projects include the development of over 4,300 new homes in Arad and other Romanian cities, as well as the revitalization of the Moneasa resort through tourism projects.

In Moldova, former Governor of Gagauzia Irina Vlah was also awarded the title of Honorary Citizen of Comrat. The distinction was presented during celebrations marking the anniversary of the municipality.
