Alexandru Dorobanțu selected for Camerimage festival

Cinematographer Alexandru Dorobanțu has been selected for the Cinematographers’ Debuts Competition at the Camerimage international film festival in Poland. Dorobanțu was recognized for his work on the film ‘3 zile în septembrie’, directed by Tudor Giurgiu.

Dorobanțu noted that the production involved significant technical and physical challenges, including filming a 65-minute continuous sequence. The film, a black comedy centered on a wedding that fails to reach the altar, was filmed in Eforie Sud with a crew of over 70 professionals.

As part of a national tour, the film’s team will hold public screenings and meet audiences in Bucharest on October 14 at Cinema Elvire Popesco and the Romanian Peasant Museum.
