Alexia Putellas biopic begins filming in Mollet del Vallès
Filming is underway in Mollet del Vallès for 'Alexia', a fictional feature film directed by Lucía Alemany. The biopic reconstructs the early life and career of footballer Alexia Putellas, tracing her journey from her beginnings in Mollet to her signing with FC Barcelona at age 18.
To maintain authenticity, the production cast young federated footballers to play the lead role at different ages. Emma Masoliver, age nine, portrays Putellas as a child, while 16-year-old Madicken Mauri-Sandaker portrays her as an adolescent. The cast also includes Roger Casamajor as her father, Jaume, and Marina Salas as her mother, Eli.
