Actor Alexis Ayala Recovers from Eye Chalazion

Mexican actor Alexis Ayala disclosed that a buildup of fatty tissue caused a chalazion, a type of eye “pimple,” leading to pain, swelling and a visible lump on his upper eyelid. He underwent an outpatient procedure performed by ophthalmologist Lorena Willow and dermatologist Lilia Argüello, who also coordinated post‑treatment care.

Ayala said the condition required incision to remove the lesion, similar to a procedure he had 25 years earlier for a similar problem. He has resumed filming and other professional activities, emphasizing the importance of following medical advice and regular health check‑ups. He also confirmed he will not return to the reality show "La Casa de los Famosos," citing the health risks involved.
