Alexis Blin terminates contract with Palermo

Alexis Blin has mutually terminated his contract with Palermo. The French midfielder, who joined the club in the summer of 2024 from Lecce, was excluded from the technical project at the start of the current season.

Blin's tenure in Sicily was marked by a serious muscular injury during his first year, followed by a season in 2025/26 where he struggled for continuity, making 22 appearances in Serie B, mostly as a substitute. Due to a lack of transfer offers and his high salary for the division, the player and the club agreed to a consensual termination of his contract, which was originally set to run until June 30, 2027.

In a social media post, Blin expressed gratitude to the club, the staff, and the city of Palermo, stating, “My experience here did not go exactly as I had hoped, but I think every experience in life serves to learn, grow and become a better person and man.”
