Alexis Segovia returns to Lanús after loan termination with Atlético Tucumán

The 21‑year‑old forward Alexis Segovia has ended his loan spell at Atlético Tucumán by mutual agreement and will re‑join his parent club Lanús, which holds his federative rights. The Argentine club announced the termination, noting that Segovia had made only eight appearances – seven in the Torneo Apertura and one in the Copa Argentina – totalling just 97 minutes on the field. He arrived at Atlético in February on loan after a failed move to Central Córdoba, but failed to secure a regular place in the attack and was superseded by the return of Ramiro Ruiz Rodríguez.

Segovia’s contract with Atlético was set to run until December, but both parties agreed to end it early, allowing him to return to Lanús to decide his next steps.
