PASOK and Greek Left Coalition engage in intense political rivalry

Political tensions have escalated between PASOK and the Greek Left Coalition (ELAS) following a speech by Alexis Tsipras. Tsipras criticized the PASOK leadership, questioning its ability to serve as a viable alternative to the New Democracy government and suggesting that some in the opposition might prefer the current administration over a progressive government led by ELAS.
