Alexis Tsipras leads ELAS’s first public forum in Nikaia

The Greek Left Alliance (ELAS), the political movement founded by former Prime Minister Alexis Tsipras, is holding its inaugural public event titled “Now We Talk” on Monday 15 June 2026 at 19:30 in the 17 August Square (Ossia Xeni) in the Nikaia district. The gathering is designed as an open‑dialogue format, giving residents the floor to raise local concerns, propose changes, and engage directly with Tsipras, rather than following the traditional top‑down political speeches. The initiative follows similar “Unmute” sessions previously held in Thessaloniki and Athens and aims to reshape political communication by prioritising citizen participation.

Tsipras will attend the event to listen to the neighbourhood’s issues and discuss possible solutions, signalling ELAS’s commitment to a participatory approach in Greek politics.
