Aleyna Tilki announces potential hiatus from new music releases

Turkish singer Aleyna Tilki has announced that she may not release any new compositions this year, citing exhaustion from the continuous pressure to produce new hits. Reflecting on her career, Tilki noted that she has released at least one major hit every year since her debut, but expressed that the constant expectation for new content is taxing.

Tilki responded sharply to followers on social media who questioned her lack of recent releases. She criticized the audience for viewing music production merely as a tool for constant consumption, stating, "I am tired of writing, while you are asking where the songs are." She also addressed fans' criticisms, telling them to "digest" her previous works before demanding more and suggesting she would adopt a more sarcastic public image to protect her private persona.

Currently, Tilki is working on an album abroad. She explained that her focus has shifted toward collaborating with international producers to integrate Turkish musical values and culture into the global music scene, a process she described as requiring significant effort.
