Alfa Romeo and Carabinieri partnership celebrated in new book

A new photographic book titled ‘Carabinieri e Alfa Romeo. Al servizio del Paese’ was presented at the Ferrari Museum in Maranello. Created by Danilo Moriero and Lorenzo Ardizio, the volume celebrates the long-standing partnership between the Carabinieri and the Alfa Romeo automotive manufacturer, a relationship that began in the immediate post-war period.

Through original images and archival materials, the book traces the history of various vehicles used by the Carabinieri, ranging from the ‘Matta’ AR 51 and the Giulia to the Alfetta, Alfa 90, and 75, as well as modern models like the Tonale and Stelvio. The work serves as a visual journey through Italian history, covering the reconstruction era, the economic miracle, and the social transformations of the 1970s and 1980s.
