Alfa Romeo developing new compact hatchback with Quadrifoglio variant

Alfa Romeo is reportedly developing a new C-segment compact hatchback to fill the gap in its lineup between the Junior crossover and the larger Tonale SUV. The new model is expected to draw inspiration from the DNA of the historic Giulietta and 147 models.

Speculation suggests the vehicle may include a high-performance Quadrifoglio version, potentially delivering approximately 400 horsepower. This would position the compact as a direct competitor to performance models like the Volkswagen Golf R and the Audi RS3. The new model is expected to be built on the STLA platform and may offer various powertrain options, including mild-hybrid (MHEV), plug-in hybrid (PHEV), and full hybrid technologies.

While the name of the successor remains unconfirmed, there is speculation regarding whether the brand will retain the Giulietta name or adopt a new designation, such as Milano.
