Alfa Romeo rolls out extreme Giulietta GTAm‑R concept as Giulia Quadrifoglio test highlights electronics

An Italian design team, Forma Corsa by RestomodGT, has created a radical Giulietta GTAm‑R concept. The compact is widened, fitted with carbon‑fiber components, a larger rear diffuser, an aggressive front splitter and a six‑speed manual gearbox, aiming to satisfy purist drivers. The project follows Stellantis CEO Antonio Fasano’s recent strategic plan for new models.

Former Top Gear Stig Ben Collins tested the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio on a circuit. Despite its 510 hp V6 and strong exhaust note, he found the car’s torque‑vectoring system frequently cuts power during aggressive cornering, making handling unpredictable. Collins praised the steering feel and interior but concluded the car is better suited for short, spirited runs than daily driving.
