Alfa Romeo showcases brand identity and unique vintage models

Alfa Romeo is emphasizing its brand identity and design heritage through both historic custom vehicles and future concept models.

A unique 1967 Alfa Romeo Giulia GT 1300, known as the ‘Red Submarine’, is currently up for auction in the United Kingdom via Car & Classic. This custom-built vehicle features an aluminum body with a low fastback profile and a Kamm tail, originally reconstructed following a racing accident. The car is powered by a 1,962 cm3 Nord engine producing approximately 180 hp and is being auctioned with bids already exceeding €25,000.

In a strategic move to maintain brand distinction within the Stellantis group, Alfa Romeo utilized the Paris Motor Show to present its vision for the future. The Cuorerosso concept serves as a design manifesto, focusing on driver-centric interiors, Italian styling, and emotional craftsmanship. By showcasing the Cuorerosso alongside models like the 33 Stradale and the classic Spider ‘Duetto’, the company aims to preserve its focus on driving experience and sportiness even as it adopts shared technical platforms and diverse powertrains.
