Alfa Romeo unveils Cuorerosso concept for 2026 Paris Motor Show

Alfa Romeo is set to host the world premiere of its Cuorerosso concept car at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, scheduled for October 12. Developed by the brand’s Centro Stile in Torino, the Cuorerosso is described not as a precursor to a specific production model, but as a design manifesto that outlines the brand’s future aesthetic and technological direction.

The concept car features a 2+2 seating configuration and a low, wide silhouette, measuring 4.70 meters in length, 1.98 meters in width, and 1.33 meters in height. It incorporates the brand’s new “Bellezza Necessaria” (Necessary Beauty) philosophy, which focuses on removing superfluous elements to integrate design, functionality, and technology. Key design elements include a modern interpretation of the Scudetto grille, a “Coda Tronca” (truncated tail), and a digital “Cannocchiale Vivente” instrument cluster.

Technologically, the Cuorerosso represents a multi-energy vision, capable of supporting various powertrains including full electric, plug-in hybrid, and mild hybrid solutions. While specific performance figures are not finalized, the concept suggests the potential for a 2.9-liter V6 hybrid powertrain. Other technical highlights include an aerodynamic coefficient of 0.28, Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes, and electronic steer-by-wire technology.
