Alfa Romeo unveils Cuorerosso concept at Paris Motor Show
Alfa Romeo has unveiled the Cuorerosso concept at the 2026 Paris Motor Show, serving as a design and technological manifesto for the brand’s future direction. The vehicle is not a preview of a specific production model but rather a statement of intent for the brand’s upcoming era of electrification and multi-energy powertrains.
Designed under the philosophy of ‘Bellezza Necessaria’ (Necessary Beauty), the Cuorerosso is a 2+2 coupé measuring 4.7 meters in length, 1.98 meters in width, and 1.33 meters in height. The concept features a ‘Liquid Ink Red’ paint that shifts from red to black depending on the light, and a sculpted body with a ‘Coda Tronca’ (truncated tail) design. Key technical features include steer-by-wire technology, air suspension, and Brembo carbon-ceramic brakes.
The concept explores various propulsion options, including fully electric, plug-in hybrid, and mild hybrid systems. One highlighted configuration is a 2.9-liter V6 hybrid with Q4 all-wheel drive. The interior, inspired by the 1967 33 Stradale, focuses on the driver with a digital cockpit that offers different display modes, such as ‘Immersivo’ and ‘Concentrato’.
This concept is intended to influence the design language of future Alfa Romeo models, including upcoming SUVs and hatchbacks, ensuring the brand maintains its emotional connection to drivers while transitioning to new energy technologies.
