Alfa Romeo unveils Luna Rossa special edition for four models

Alfa Romeo has unveiled the Edizione Luna Rossa, a new special series spanning four models: Junior, Tonale, Giulia, and Stelvio. Debuting in Naples during the second Preliminary Regatta for the 2027 America’s Cup, the series celebrates the brand's technical and sporting partnership with the Luna Rossa sailing team.

The vehicles feature aesthetic elements inspired by the racing yachts, including a specific red Alfa Romeo logo, a new grey exterior shade inspired by crew life jackets, and Glossy Black detailing. The Junior and Tonale models utilize 3D Knit upholstery technology, a first for the Stellantis group, while the Giulia and Stelvio incorporate carbon fiber and ECONYL, a recycled nylon fabric made from recovered fishing nets.

The collaboration extends beyond design into technical engineering. Alfa Romeo provides expertise in simulation, vehicle dynamics, and virtual analysis to the Luna Rossa team. This includes contributing to the development of control software used to manage the movement of the sailing team's sails. In Italy, prices for the series start at 37,800 euros for the Junior and reach 73,350 euros for the Stelvio.
