Alfa Romeo unveils plans for new Giulietta hatchback and Milano Sportwagon concept
Alfa Romeo announced that it will develop a new compact C‑segment hatchback, likely to be called Giulietta, built on the STLA One multi‑energy platform. The model is intended to inherit the sporty character of the Giulia after the current generation ends production around 2027, and could become the brand’s primary low‑center‑of‑gravity offering.
Independent designer Bruno Callegarin released a digital rendering of a Milano Sportwagon concept, also based on the Giulia platform. The sport‑focused station wagon features a long bonnet, muscular wheel arches and a low ride height, aiming to fill the gap left by the discontinued Giulietta and to complement Alfa Romeo’s future D‑segment strategy, which may merge the roles of the Stelvio and Giulia into a single dynamic model.
