Alfajayucan: Driver killed in 60-meter ravine fall

A 26-year-old man died following a vehicle accident on the Portezuelo–Palmillas federal highway near the Donguiño bridge in Alfajayucan. The victim was driving a white Ford Pick Up when the vehicle overturned and fell approximately 60 meters into a ravine.

Emergency response efforts required specialized assistance from the Ixmiquilpan Fire Department. The Urban Rescue unit utilized vertical rescue equipment to recover the body after a complex operation lasting several hours. Preliminary reports indicate the deceased was from the municipality of Progreso de Obregón. Authorities from the National Guard, State Police, and Municipal Police attended the scene to conduct investigations.
