Alfareal sells Madrid Coliving Galerías to local family office

Spanish investment platform Alfareal has sold the Coliving Galerías complex, located at General Ricardos 114 in the Carabanchel district of Madrid near the Urgel metro station, to a local family office. The property, previously an unfinished residential project abandoned for more than 15 years, was fully renovated over the past 26 months and now operates at 100% occupancy with 16 units – eight studios and eight apartments. Tree Coliving will remain the operator, ensuring continuity of services for residents.

The transaction, advised by the law firms Ortogo and Cameno, aligns with Alfareal’s strategy of acquiring, refurbishing and managing residential assets across the Iberian Peninsula, focusing on coliving, flexible accommodation, senior living and student housing.
