Alfombra Roja returns to Canal 13 with new hosts and editorial focus

The entertainment program ‘Alfombra Roja’ has returned to Canal 13, hosted by Millaray Viera and Ignacio Gutiérrez. The relaunch follows the conclusion of ‘Hay que decirlo’ and places the show in direct competition with Chilevisión’s ‘Plan Perfecto’.

During their debut, the hosts addressed criticisms from Fran García-Huidobro regarding the show's editorial direction. While García-Huidobro suggested the program might focus solely on glamour, Gutiérrez and Viera asserted that they intend to cover all topics, including traditional celebrity news and gossip.

In a promotional segment on the morning show ‘Tu Día’, the hosts teased an upcoming exclusive regarding potential contract negotiations between television personalities and rival networks. They suggested that a member of the ‘Tu Día’ team may have been in contact with executives from a competing channel, though they did not name the specific individual.
