Alfons Haider manages intensive festival operations

Alfons Haider, the director of the festival, manages a demanding daily schedule that involves extensive coordination between locations such as Mörbisch and Schloss Tabor. His routine includes numerous early morning telephone calls with assistants and operations directors to manage the complex logistics of the festival season.

While current productions like ‘Ein Käfig voller Narren’ in Mörbisch and ‘Wiener Blut’ at Schloss Tabor are being performed, Haider is already preparing for the upcoming season. Preparations for the production of ‘Mamma Mia!’ are already underway, with approximately 890 applications received for auditions.
