Alfonso Martínez calls for PAN mobilization in Michoacán
Alfonso Martínez Alcázar, the mayor of Morelia, has called upon the National Action Party (PAN) structures in Michoacán to mobilize and challenge the ruling Morena party. During an event where municipal structures were sworn in, Martínez Alcázar urged members to engage in door-to-door campaigning to regain political influence and restore proximity to citizens.
Martínez Alcázar criticized the current administration for its impact on the agricultural sector, alleging that previous support systems for farmers have been dismantled. He emphasized that the party must convince the population that political change is possible, citing previous instances of power alternation.
Other PAN leaders, including Ricardo Anaya and Carlos Quintana, also spoke at the event. They highlighted the party's territorial strength and expressed a commitment to addressing issues such as the loss of freedom of expression and the perceived lack of security and peace under the current government.
