Casey Jarvis leads Alfred Dunhill Links Championship after second round
Casey Jarvis has taken the lead at the Alfred Dunhill Links Championship after the second round. The South African golfer sits at 11-under par following a strong performance at Kingsbarns.
Jarvis is followed by a three-way tie at 10-under par, consisting of MJ Daffue, Rocco Repetto Taylor, and Matthew Jordan. Taylor recorded an eight-under 64 at Kingsbarns, while Jordan shot a seven-under 65 at Carnoustie.
The tournament utilizes a unique format where 168 professionals are paired with amateur partners for a pro-am competition. The professional portion follows a standard 72-hole stroke-play format across three courses: the Old Course at St Andrews, Carnoustie, and Kingsbarns. The field will be cut to the top 60 professionals and the top 20 pro-am teams for the final round at St Andrews.
Defending champion Robert MacIntyre and Brooks Koepka remain in contention, both sitting at eight under par.
