Alfredo Sánchez presents poetry collection ‘Tan Temprano’ in Valdepeñas

Author Alfredo Sánchez Rodríguez will present his poetry collection, ‘Tan Temprano’, this Wednesday at the ‘La Confianza’ Cultural Center in Valdepeñas, Ciudad Real. Published by Mahalta Ediciones, the work features a prologue by Rafael Escobar Sánchez.

The elegiac collection explores themes of life's transition, disappointment, and the inevitability of death, while serving as a treatise on love. The book is structured into four parts, including a section titled ‘Andrés’, which addresses the presence of absence through lyrical imagery.

The presentation event will include contributions from Vanessa Irla Uriarte, first deputy mayor of Valdepeñas, and writer Juan José Guardia Polaino. The evening will also feature readings by several authors and musical accompaniment by Irene Sánchez Navas.
