Alfredo Zambiasio to Step Down as Finance Secretary of Trenque Lauquen

Alfredo Zambiasio, the secretary of finance for the municipality of Trenque Lauquen, announced he will leave his post on 31 August, citing personal and family reasons. He has served for six years and eight months, fulfilling a commitment made with mayor Francisco Recoulat to stay for the first half of the mayor’s term.

During his tenure the municipal budget recorded a financial surplus, the tax ordinance was modernized and simplified, and he promoted the creation of the Unidad de Medida Impositiva (UMI), later adopted by other Buenos Aires province municipalities. He also prioritized health spending during the COVID‑19 pandemic and supported major public‑works projects.
