Alfresa and Seiko Solutions partner for medical DX

Alfresa Corporation and Seiko Solutions have entered into a basic agreement to collaborate in the medical digital transformation (DX) sector. The partnership focuses on the joint deployment of ‘COMPACT IN,’ an electronic consent service designed for medical institutions.

Under the agreement, Alfresa will provide sales support and handle applications through its established medical industry network. Seiko Solutions will manage technical specifications, contracting, and maintenance. The ‘COMPACT IN’ service includes features such as electronic signatures, timestamps, and document storage, complying with the Ministry of Health, Labour and Welfare’s medical information guidelines. It also offers remote signing via smartphones and integration with existing electronic medical record systems.

Moving forward, the companies intend to leverage insights gained from this deployment to develop and commercialize new services utilizing electronic signature and timestamp technologies to further improve operational efficiency in healthcare settings.
