Alfàs del Pi and Guadalajara launch free kids' art workshops

The municipal Culture Department of Alfàs del Pi, Spain, is offering a free workshop for children aged five and up on May 29 at 17:00 in the town’s Children’s Library. Participants will create wire sculptures inspired by Alexander Calder’s moving works, with limited places that must be registered in advance, according to Culture Councilor Manuel Casado.

In Guadalajara, Spain, the Francisco Sobrino Museum will host a creative workshop on May 30 from 11:30 to 13:00 that introduces children to the ideas of architect Le Corbusier. The session, limited to fifteen participants, lets youngsters explore proportion, structure and the relationship between built environments and daily life, echoing Le Corbusier’s principle that buildings should serve people. Registrations are accepted at the museum or by phone.
