Algeciras CF director defends squad following poor start

Jordi Figueras, the sporting director of Algeciras CF, has addressed the club's difficult start to the season following three consecutive defeats. Despite the poor results, Figueras expressed full confidence in head coach Adrián Colunga and the technical staff.

He emphasized that the current roster of 22 players is more complete and offers greater competition across all positions.

Regarding the recent losses, Figueras argued that the scorelines do not accurately reflect the team's performance, claiming they were superior to opponents such as Nàstic, Cartagena, and Villarreal, but were unable to capitalize on their opportunities.
