Algeciras Feria de Las Palomas bullfighting highlights as Spanish fairs feature major corridas

At the Feria de Las Palomas in Algeciras, toreros Alejandro Talavante, Juan Ortega and Pablo Aguado each earned ear trophies after a series of Zalduendo bulls, with Talavante and Aguado each receiving two ears and Ortega two ears as well. Photographs from the same Thursday corrida captured matadors David Galván, Tomás Rufo and Marco Pérez in action.

In nearby Alicante, rejoneadores Andy Cartagena and Diego Ventura delivered concluding performances for the Feria, each cutting two ears from their final bulls while showcasing a range of horses such as Pintas, Cartago and Fouto.

Further north in Navasfrías, the San Juan celebrations included a traditional field encierro that released two novillos into the town square, followed by a classic capea featuring the same animals and a musical program that extended into the night.
