Algeciras house fire leaves three men hospitalized
A house fire in the La Bajadilla neighborhood of Algeciras, Spain, resulted in the hospitalization of three men on Friday morning. The incident occurred around 6:00 AM on Jaén Street.
As smoke filled the residence, the three occupants—men aged 79, 57, and 44—along with a dog, escaped to the rooftop to seek safety. Emergency services, including the Cádiz Consortium Firefighters, National Police, Local Police, and 061 Health Emergency Center, responded to the scene.
The three men were treated for smoke inhalation and evacuated by ambulance to the Hospital Universitario Punta Europa. The causes of the fire and the extent of the material damage to the property have not yet been determined.
