Algeciras implements traffic changes due to roadworks

Traffic patterns in Algeciras will change starting Monday, September 21, due to ongoing infrastructure works near the bus station. The project, aimed at improving the EBAR Puente de la Conferencia pumping system, will partially occupy the right lane of San Bernardo street heading toward the port and expand the work area at the intersection.

To maintain vehicle flow, provisional traffic lights will be installed in both directions. Additionally, left turns from Carteya street will be restricted. The works, which began on September 14 with excavation and pavement demolition, are expected to occupy public space for approximately four weeks. Emalgesa is coordinating the intervention with the Local Police and the Traffic Delegation to ensure mobility and safety.
