Algeciras authorises full opening of Feria Real attractions

The Algeciras City Council has formally approved the opening of all fairground booths and rides in the Antonio Quintero Romero Park for the Feria Real 2026. The decision follows technical and safety reviews by municipal officials, the Cádiz provincial fire service, and other authorities, allowing visitors to enjoy the festivities from the evening of June 27 until the early hours of June 28.

Mayor José Ignacio Landaluce praised the inauguration, highlighting the opening ceremony, the lighting of the fairgrounds and the inaugural horse parade that distributed 8,000 kg of sweets to families. He urged locals and tourists to take part in the week‑long celebration, which features over 50 booths, rides, horse rides, and other leisure activities.
