Algeciras to Host XV Classic Cycling Race on August 30

The city of Algeciras will stage the fifteenth edition of the Classic cycling race on Sunday, 30 August. More than two hundred riders are expected to compete across eight categories, from cadet to master‑60, in both men’s and women’s divisions.

The event will take place on a fast urban circuit of roughly two kilometres on Avenida Juan Pérez Arriete, starting at 09:00. Organisation is led by the municipal sports delegate Jorge Juliá and the president of Club Ciclista Andalucía Nature, Joaquín Garnica. The race counts toward the Trofeo Diputación and the Provincial Circuit of Cádiz. Registration is open to federated cyclists until 27 August, with on‑the‑day entries allowed if spaces remain.
