Algeria adds direct flights to Turkey and Dubai for 2026 summer season

Turkish Airlines announced a seasonal charter service linking Oran in western Algeria with the Turkish resort city of Antalya. Three weekly rotations are planned for August 2026 (6, 15 and 24 May), allowing passengers to travel directly without transiting through Istanbul and shortening the journey to the Mediterranean coast.

Emirates confirmed the reinstatement of its Dubai‑Algiers route from 1 September 2026, operating a Boeing 777‑300ER. The service is part of a wider network realignment that also sees the carrier revive flights to Baghdad and other regional destinations. The new Dubai‑Algiers connection restores a direct link between the UAE capital and Algeria’s capital, Algiers, after a period of suspension.
