Algeria announces professional exams for primary school inspectors
The Algerian Ministry of National Education has announced a professional examination for the 2026 academic year to recruit primary school inspectors specializing in English and Physical Education and Sports (EPS).
The initiative aims to address pedagogical supervision needs and fill vacant budgetary positions. A total of 148 positions are available, including 30 for English and 118 for EPS.
Candidates must meet specific seniority and grade requirements. For English, applicants must hold the rank of emeritus professor of middle school teaching, classified in category 16, with five years of seniority. Similar criteria apply to candidates for the EPS inspectorate.
