Algeria engages in digital and energy forums in Russia and Saudi Arabia

Algeria is expanding its international presence through strategic participation in major digital and energy summits. At the Global Digital Forum in Moscow, Meriem Benmouloud, High Commissioner for Digitalization, presented the nation's digital transformation strategy and its approach to digital sovereignty. The discussions in Russia focused on artificial intelligence governance and the harmonization of rules regarding AI development.

In the energy sector, Algerian ministers Mohamed Arkab and Mourad Adjal are participating in Energy Week in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. This engagement includes the 17th Ministerial Meeting of the International Energy Forum and the 25th World Petroleum Congress. The participation aims to strengthen cooperation with global energy producers and consumers, focusing on energy security, market stability, and new technological innovations in the global energy system.
