Algeria hosts major real estate and construction trade fairs

Algeria has hosted two significant industry events highlighting growth in the real estate, construction, and building sectors.

The Batiwest-2026 international salon in Oran, held at the Mohamed Benahmed Convention Center, attracted approximately 20,000 visitors. Organized by SB Events Company, the five-day event featured nearly 70 national and international exhibitors. The fair facilitated the signing of agreements between cement producers and real estate developers, alongside various commercial contacts between local operators and public or private entities. The event also saw orders for construction materials from companies managing housing programs in western Algeria.

In Algiers, the third edition of the DZ IMMO salon showcased the country's evolving real estate landscape. The event featured around 30 exhibitors, including real estate developers, banks, insurance companies, and specialized start-ups. Participants emphasized the diversification of housing offers, ranging from villas to residential complexes. Financial institutions at the salon presented various funding solutions, including traditional credits and Islamic finance, aimed at facilitating housing acquisition and construction for citizens.
